Tales and Fermentations

At Seed, we are all about sharing and connecting our favorite things! And mostly we like to make stuff up.  So, this spring, we’re combining one of our favorite local joints – The City of Raleigh Museum, our fondness for local craft beer – local history, and one of our favorite maker-uppers of funny stuff, Allan Maule.  We present to you his newest play which showcases stories from some of Raleigh’s most popular breweries.  We’ll take you all the way back to our capital city’s historical roots at Isaac Hunter’s Tavern and lead you through some current stories shared by some of our local beer-makers.  Featured story contributors include our long time supporters over at Trophy Brewing and Raleigh’s latest A-listers at Brewery Bhavana.  We can’t wait!  Audiences will travel throughout the museum enjoying a flight of local brews, live music, and some Raleigh beer-history trivia between the scenes.  Because where there is beer, there should be trivia.  Only, this will be snooty museum trivia.  Probably not – but you won’t know unless you show!  House opens 30-minutes prior to curtain and includes live music and some tasty snacks to tide you over.

Please note that while there will be some seating available during scenes, patrons will be moving throughout the event.  You know the drill – you have to be 21+ to consume alcohol during the show so please make all of our lives easier and be prepared to show valid ID at check-in.

April 26-28 at 7:30 pm.  Spaces are limited so reserve your spot now!
